KNOWING YOU WORTH WOMEN’S CONFERENCE 2012

 This is a (FREE) event that is designed to be an open discussion forum on different topics that are affecting our community. Audience participation will be encouraged. 
 
 We will look at clips of documentary's & get empowered from some amazing speakers!!
 
(1) Screening- Dark Girls Movie – Documentary exploring the deep-seated biases and attitudes about skin color – particularly dark skinned women 

 (2) Screening/Speaker - Very Young Girls – Documentary of the commercial sexual exploitation of girls in New York City as they are sold on the streets by pimps and treated as adult criminals by police. The film follows barely adolescent girls documenting their struggles and triumphs as they seek to exit the commercial sex industry. 

(3) Intro Speaker: Erica Mitchell, Founder of Tru Goddess and Motivational Speaker

 (4 Speaker: Kathy Snyder, Author – I Love My Sperm: A Guide for the Care and Protection of Females and Children - The purpose of this book is to promote the careful nurturing and guidance of our children. They are the unfortunate sufferers of our insensitive labels, definitions, and subsequent abuse. When we define every aspect of human existence, including sperm, with honor and respect, the insanity that leads to missing, murdered, and exploited children will be replaced with wisdom. Males are the protector of human life and can do so before conception. The creation of environments that promote innate gifts and talents are both parents duty
